Panhellenic Council of Christian Brothers University

About the Panhellenic Council
The National Panhellenic Conference,
founded in 1902, is an umbrella organization for 26 international women's
fraternities and sororities. CBU currently
has three NPC chapters: Alpha Sigma Tau,
Alpha Xi Delta, and
Zeta Tau Alpha.
Panhellenic, through its intersorority programming efforts, promotes superior
scholarship, leadership development, and dissemination of information important
to women in general. Panhellenic is the coordinating body for recruitment.
On campus, the six members of the Panhellenic Executive Board, one delegate
from each chapter, and Junior Panhellenic officers work closely with the
Greek Life Advisor on philanthropic projects and other various social and
educational activities.
Mission
The Panhellenic mission at Christian Brothers University is to foster within its
membership, and within the University at large, academic excellence, community,
leadership, personal growth, awareness and appreciation of diversity, service,
and exemplary university and community citizenship.
