Dear Potential New Member,
Please let me be one of the first people to welcome you to Christian Brothers University! CBU prides itself on the Lasallian tradition, a thriving campus life, and a devoted faculty and staff. I hope that you are looking forward to the many wonderful experiences that await you here at CBU.
For myself, immediately getting involved on campus became the best way for me to feel more at home. With Greek Life, I was able to focus my attention on things that mattered most to me: academics, community service, social outings, and the various other leadership opportunities that presented itself. Greek Life has enabled me to meet so many colorful characters and form relationships with people I would have never expected to encounter. College is a difficult time for some and finding where you belong becomes part of this not so easy journey. However, by taking advantage of Greek Life on campus, I have been able to find where I truly belong.
Alpha Xi Delta has become what I like to call my second family. My CBU experience would be entirely different if it was not for the friendships I have made through AXiD. Alpha Xi Delta has continued to be an amazing support through all of my efforts whether it is academically, socially, or emotionally. We represent some of the strongest women on this campus, and I pride myself in knowing that we share a common bond of sisterhood, knowledge, dedication, and leadership. Every day is an experience for each of us to grow and learn from each other. Even after my experiences at CBU have come to a close, I know that I will continue to show pride in Alpha Xi Delta because of who we are and what we believe in. I am thankful for the memories that I have already made in my two years here, and I am looking forward to making many more in the years to come.
I strongly encourage you to see what Greek Life can do for you, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to meet each of you. Please know that each of us, no matter what Greek letters we may wear, is always here to help you with your transition. I can only hope that you will find the same lasting friendships and love that I have found in Alpha Xi Delta.
